I was able to look past the "suggested by" link to Asimov's story pretty quickly, as I never really thought of them as much more than a collection of ideas playing around in a universe, this film does just that and does it well. This is a good summer blockbuster - it has plot, laughs, effects, action, mystery and plenty to keep you interested. There are a few holes that bugged me about 3 minutes a piece at the time but I got over with the next impressive action sequence. The constant product placement was somewhat grating and many of the supporting characters were shamelessly adjusted throughout the film to fill slots as needed (sceptic, heroine, villain, martyr etc). However as a whole it was an enjoyable couple of hours and I wouldn't mind seeing it again.
