Is there any point in the "Best Fan Writer" catergory? I mean, Dave Langford's won it every year since 1989... What does it actually represent? Is there only one fan writer? Shouldn't you be exempt from this category once you have non-vanity-published works in book form to your name?

According to Ansible he only won by 1 vote this year ;) Starting to feel like F1.

And Naomi Novik won the Campbell (yay!) - now I feel more justified in telling people to go read Temeraire :)
