Nice to see red getting some more tricksy cards - I suspect the Lowblood will be more effective as a threat than by actual damage. Nice ]:=8)

i'm reading. I just don't have much to say as we tend to discuss it on irc before I remember to read this thread. The red flip is interesting, the trick being i guess to try and get more than two ki counters on it. I can't find the second "way more impressive" flip card.

(www.wizards.com) - Hundred Talon Strike, alternate costs for splicing are interesting.

I'm reading too, but from work, where wizards.com is filtered, so i can't see the cards till the evenng, when i'm too tired to comment.

Its mildly confusing trying to decipher the cards from the just the comments here and on MTGS.

(www.wizards.com) and just for Tom
Heed The Mists 3UU, sorcery (arcane) - Put the top card of your library into your graveyard, then draw cards equal to that card's converted mana cost.

Interesting to find a home for - somethign that makes the most of it and can draw sensible numbers of cards, ideally knowing what you're going to dump and can get the lost card back somehow would be nice.

just me being paranoid then ]:=8)

card: aha yes - ink eyes - this one's the pre relase tourney card too (probably an alternate artwork - does anyone know what it is?) - nasty black stompy.

See the flavour stories for more background on this character.

OK, there have been some stupid cards in the past, but today's is just fsking RETARDED:

Mirror Gallery (5)
The legend rule does not apply

I mean, seriously, come on. Some things are legendary for a reason - with 2 in play the game breaks.

(www.wizards.com) this is just strictly better than captain's maneuver. In almost every way.

 karne ( 21st Jan 2005, 11:11, Rank: GSV )  reply

interesting - new, much weaker pitch cards. hmm

not sure I'm keen, the card's very playable but the converted cost limitation means there no chance for REALLY spectacular effects in multi player. Nice for duels though ]:=8)

and on a side note... more dippy fish - yay!!!!

amusing footnote: this card can manage a turn 0 win against a channel/fireball deck...

fear the fish!

This card is freaking amazing in limited duels.

I got one at the pre-release today and, along with an 8.5 tails, meant I went 3-1 up in my flight.
