I wonder what happens if you return the revealed card to the top of its owners library. Would it leave play then re-enter? or would nothing happen to it?

I like those lands a lot more than the Unglued lands, which I think are lame. The other preview cards are just too silly. Wizards are deliberately trying to make our brains hurt.

hmm.. CU 1 and an echo cost of GG that triggers every other turn due to phasing - this fogey's expensive to feed!

read biography for - armadillo

 armadillo ( 18th Nov 2004, 22:12, Rank: Peacekeeper )  reply

I don't think that echo triggers every turn with phasing:

From the (current) Unhinged FAQ for old fogey, on turn 5 (when it phases in the second time):

D*r**g ***r **tap step be**re *** **tap, *ld **ge* p*ases **. C*m*lat**e *pkeep sa*s, "*e*, pa* {2}." Ec** sa*s, "*'m g**d." A*d *ad**g sa*s "Take *** a**t*er *ad**g c***ter. *'m d*w* t* **e."

i.e.: During your untap step befor you untap, old fogey phases in. Cumulative upkeep says "Hey, pay {2}." Echo says "I'm good." And fading says "Take off another fading counter. I'm down to one."

I think

 armadillo ( 22nd Nov 2004, 22:27, Rank: Peacekeeper )  reply

My mistake - the FAQ was wrong, and you do have to pay echo every turn
