what moment? I don't think there's any one particular point were HAL goes mad - it's more gradual from what I remember. The scene that had most effect on me was 'Daisy, Daaaaaisy..'

It's good to see that they considered the ending to Blake's Seven: the best ending to any sci-fi series ever!
