Traffic Cones and Goo

Continuing my catching up with New Scientist, here are another couple of fun items. It'll be old news to some of you, sorry!

Someone's developed remote control herds of traffic cones. Shades of Python...

Also, some people have got cornstarch to do some really weird things. Watch the movie. This looks better/creepier to me than lots of similar sfx that it brings to mind from star trek and the like ;)

One of them traffic cones would be an excellent post-pubcrawl prize, though nabbing one of the 'shepherd' cones might be a bad idea.. ;)
