IMDB: (uk.imdb.com) says 22 October 2004 in the UK.

Meanwhile, the Apple (trailer) website says "08.06.04", which presumably corresponds to the 6th August release date in the USA (as per the IMDB page).

Personally, I wasn't particularly impressed by the trailer - it didn't really show anything, and atmospheric stuff only goes so far (given that we already know what Aliens and Predators look like). I am curious about whether the "On Earth" line at the end is just a cheesy way of saying "At a cinema near you", or whether they mean that the film is actually set there (unlike the other Alien films).
