According to Neil Gaiman's blog ( (, DC are now planning to sell the covers on their own, for people who already own the hardbacks, and just want new dust-jackets. That's a pretty decent thing to do, and provides an incentive for me to buy hardbacks rather than paperbacks in the future...

Incidentally, two trivia facts that are relevant to the Dream story in "Endless Nights" (not spoilers, just background info about superheroes): Rao is the god of Krypton (Superman's home planet), and the Guardians of Oa founded the Green Lantern Corps (who can create solid light projections out of their rings by force of will).

You know you can get a sandman dustcovers book too, right? Though I dont believe the library has requested it. Have put Endless Nights on the request list, didnt realise it existed:)
