I must admit I'm rapidly losing interest in this film, the target audience apears to be getting younger ]:=8/

hmm... looks much like spiderman really. Bright colours, heavy on the angst and moral grey areas. It looks like a comic film, whether this is good or bad I'm not sure. I'll certainly watch it, but am not expecting a great deal. The CGI hulk does look a little naff - wonder if that's deliberate to keep it comicy, whether they're going to touch it up before release, or whether it just sucks.

One interesting aspect of the novelisations - Peter David is writing two of them for this film (one regular, one young adult), and the young adult one is being done as Bruce Banner's diary, so Banner will be listed as the author - see (peterdavid.malibulist.com) for details. As for the CGI stuff, I don't think it makes sense to "keep it comicy", since in the comics, the Hulk is drawn at the same level of reality as everyone else.

There's also an amusing anecdote about how Peter David got contacted about writing the novelisations in the first place: (peterdavid.malibulist.com)
