Well, it's good news about "Charmed" and "Smallville". As for "Angel", I've sent in my postcard, as per the campaign at (www.renewangel.com). N.B. It costs 42p to send a postcard from here to California. Mine said:

"I am writing to ask you to renew Angel for a 5th season. I have been watching it in the UK (along with Buffy) since thi first episode, and I really like it. As a result, we now have Sky TV installed here, mainly to watch new episodes of Buffy/Angel before they are shown on terrestrial TV. I have also bought all of the DVD boxsets that have been released so far, and intend to buy future ones as soon as they are available. For demographic purposes, I am 28, male, and a full-time postgraduate student. Thanks for your time in reading this, John C. Kirk" (I also gave my address at the top.)

I'm not entirely convinced that this will achieve anything, but it can't do any harm. I've used a touristy London postcard (pictures of double decker buses etc) rather than one of the ones on the site (mainly because I don't have the facilities to print them out), so hopefully this will remind the execs that they do have a secondary market, in terms of overseas viewers (who don't show up on ratings) and DVD sales.

According to (www.bayarea.com) the series' renewal is being held up by contract negotiations for cast members and potential incoming Buffy cast.
(www.bayarea.com) has comments from the Buffy cast on whether they're going to Angel or not. the article is relatively spoielr free, only talking about themes.

I thought Oz fitted in well when he showed up in "Angel" a while back. I'm sure it's unrealistic for him to be based there long-term, since the actor is off making films now, but I thik it would be good if he could :) (Mind you, that may not be practical for story reasons, if some of those rumours in the link you posted turn out to be true.)

(www.scifi.com) - comments at the Buffy wrap party. Joss says Angel will be back, somewhere (maybe UPN will pick it up) and some comments on characters moving from Buffy to Angel.
It's unlikely in the extreme that Seth Green would move over, he's busy with films (including reuniting with Sarah Michelle Geller in Scooby Doo 2).
(www.angelsacolyte.com ) - nifty spoilers for the end of season 4 and what will be going on in season 5 (look at the 'description' popups under upcoming episodes). Without spoilers it will be criminal if they don't renew this series when they've got funky stuff like this going on.
