I guess you need to be logged in to view the threads on the TrekBBS. You can register here.

Personally, I'm not at all convinced by the pictures. Working on the assumption that it wouldn't have been Liv Tyler on the horse anyway (would have been stunt double instead), it's a bit hard to say who the blurred figure is supposed to be.

Interesting side-discussion on that page about spoiler etiquette - some people have mentioned what happens to Arwen in "Return of the King", which brings up the argument of "the book is 50 years old" vs "the film hasn't come out yet". My view is that I would include spoiler space in an email to a mailing list, but that doesn't really work on a web board, so I guess a technical workaround is needed (like when you add a news item here).

Ah, to clarify that - you can see some forums without registering, but this isn't one of them (because it's in the "Federation Embassy" section).

*growl* well that's sodding irritating. Why on earth are they blocking access to that forum, it's probably the most widely linked to on the whole site. *grumble some more*

(www.theonering.net) - some comments from someone on set confirming Arwen *was* originally at Helm's Deep. I also spotted some of the scenes that there are pictures of on my 3rd watching of Two Towers - the person on the 2nd white horse following Legolas and Gimli definately looked out of place and there are very few other white horses in the film (other than shadowfax obviously).
