Picocon 26

Picocon 26 took place on Saturday 28th February 2009, in Imperial College Union. It continued the large turnouts of the preceeding years. Certain guests may have been remarkably insane. Salmon may have come up at some stage.

What is Picocon?

Picocon is the annual one-day Science Fiction & Fantasy convention run by the Imperial College Science Fiction society (ICSF). It usually takes place on a Saturday in February, in Imperial College's Student Union. We try not to clash with other conventions around the same time.

It is a small (hence the name), affordable and convenient convention for students in or near London, and London fandom. Registration usually opens at 10am, first event ~11, finishing up in the evening around 7-8pm. At a Picocon you will encounter:

Picocon 26 will take place on Saturday 28rd February 2009 the Imperial College Union Building, Beit Quad, Prince Consort Road, South Kensington, London, SW7 2BB.

Guests of Honour

Pat Cadigan is an American-born science fiction author. She has won a number of awards, including the Arthur C. Clarke Award for both Synners and Fools

Robert Rankin is a highly prolific British humourous writer. His books really are too numerous to list here.

Michael Marshall Smith, also Michael Smith and M M Smith, is (are?) a British author.
