Picocon 20 was held on Saturday 22nd February 2003, at Imperial College Students Union on Prince Consort Road in South Kensington, London, SW6 2BB.

Guests of Honour

Dr Jack Cohen - is an internationally renowned reproductive biologist and science fiction alien design consultant. He has collaborated with Terry Pratchett and Ian Stewart on The Science of Discworld and The Science of Discworld II: The Globe, as well as writing several other books.

Gwyneth Jones - The winner of 2002's Arthur C. Clarke award for her novel Bold as Love. She is a writer and critic of science fiction and fantasy, and is also known as Ann Halam, writer of teenage horror fiction.

Destruction of Dodgy Merchandise - This now annual event consists of an auction for pieces of offensively tacky, cheap or cute merchandise. All proceeds from the auction go to icu RAG and the winner of each lot gets to destroy it using the tools available, including large hammers and liquid nitrogen. Please feel free to bring along your own contributions.

LAN Network - We will be running a LAN Network with various PCs running deathmatch games, such as Unreal Tournament 2003. Come along and blow your friends up with high power weaponry.

Twelve Monkeys - The day concluded with a showing of Twelve Monkeys in the iCU cinema.

Entrance for the whole day including the film is:
£2 for icsf members
£5 concessions (with valid ID) - students/DHSS/OAP/children
£8 for non-students
