Case Study Club

Case Study

ICCS runs an in-house Case Study Club which offers training and opportunities for members to practise case studies with each other. Case interviews are probably the most intensive and difficult challenge in the recruitment process to join a reputable consulting firm. Hence, by joining our Case Study Club, you would be given the opportunities to learn about different frameworks as well as to practise them with other fellow members.

This year, we are running two tracks of the programme – a Beginner’s class as well as an Advanced class. Sessions for both tracks would run weekly, with some sessions conducted by external guests from our sponsors or other organisations. There would be several cases discussed, packed with mock interviews and presentations.

If you are keen to join our Case Study Club, please register for our free membership from the Imperial College Union website (click here) and sign up with us when we open the registration link. If you have any queries regarding the sessions, do contact Han Yap (han.yap13@imperial.ac.uk), the Vice President of Talent & Development.

Autumn Term Case Study Sessions

Every week we will focus on specific business situations: falling profit, product launching, entering new market, pricing, competition etc. during the lecture sessions. By attending the practice sessions you will strengthen the skills desirable in consulting: analytical, presentation, attention to detail, quantitative and being flexible with on-the-spot thinking.

Please follow closely with our mailing list if you wish to sign up for these sessions, you are encouraged to make use of the resources ICCS has invested this year. A tentative weekly schedule is as follow:
