RSM Association Annual BBQ

Date: 25 June, 2018   Posted in: Events, RSMA

This Thursday (28th June), the RSM Association are holding their AGM and BBQ for final year students.

Taking place in Beit Quad at 7pm, the event this year will be priced at a very reasonable £15 for students, and it is an excellent way to celebrate the end your time in the RSM.

If you’d like to attend, check your emails for the eventbrite link or ask any of the RSMU committee.

The RSMA began life in 1873 and the constitution of the RSMA has remained unchanged since then and in brief is:

  • To endeavour to maintain the identity of the Royal School of Mines (RSM).
  • To foster an enduring link between members of the Association and with the staff and students of the RSM thereby promoting comradeship and a source of mutual help and advice.
  • To provide members with a forum for assisting, both financially and in other ways, RSM students in particular and the RSM in general.

The RSMA is well represented on LinkedIn (~2000 members) and Facebook which provide powerful vehicles for members connecting with old colleagues and friends. The RSMA is run by a voluntary committee of RSM alumni or staff (of various vintages).

A link to their website is available at the footer throughout this website.
