Major Event has evolved over the years, formerly being a game show and even an event to make a giant Singapore flag from agar. Currently, it is an annual stage production that ICSS puts up for students at Imperial College London.
Every year, members from all generations and courses come together to showcase the diverse range of talents of our members as well as our uniquely Singaporean culture to the school and the greater community of London. It is a culmination of months of preparation, learning, and fun! For many members, Major Event has been a stepping stone for uncovering new talents, developing new skills, and forming lasting bonds with friends across various years for one’s stay in London.
Our Major Event 2021 had to be placed on hold physically but we are glad to say our 1st ever online ME 2021 was a huge success! Hosted on Zoom with around 60+ viewers, our turnout rate was much higher than expected and we hope to continue the ICSS tradition of Major Events into the future.
