This year’s national conference will be held online, integrated into the timetable of our SFP preparation course. If you only wish to attend the MERL 2021 conference, please register for free using the link below / in the event description - you will be emailed a link with instructions to join a Zoom meeting closer to the time. Alternatively, if you wish to attend the entire SFP course, we will be posting about the event soon and updating this description with the link - so keep your eyes peeled!
The conference will feature a selection of virtual posters which will be made available to view online. In addition, we will be inviting a selection of delegates to deliver short oral presentations to explain their research in more detail.
You can submit an abstract (max. 1250 characters) by clicking above. The deadline for abstract submissions is at 23:59 on Wednesday 1st September. Once all abstracts are received, they will be anonymised, and the top submissions shortlisted by an independant panel of doctors. A selection of authors will be invited to send us their digital posters and / or prepare an oral presentation. On the day, another panel of doctors will adjudicate and award prizes for the best virtual poster and best oral presentation. All authors that are shortlisted for the conference will receive certificates!
