Imperial Planetary Robotics Lab (IPRL) is a new initiative aiming to bridge the gap between space engineering and robotics here at Imperial. The goal is to create a space for students to research different robotic concepts for planetary exploration (and not only) as part of their free time, or 3rd or 4th year projects.

The current goal of the team is to create a competition rover to compete in the European Rover Challenge on-site in September 2023. The rover will be a self-contained platform with video and radio communications, a driving system, robotic arm, and science payload.
