The WiP London 2018 Conference, organised by the Kings College London Women in Physics Society, was inspired by the Conference for Undergraduate Women in Physics (CUWIP UK) organised by the University of Oxford. It was introduced to King’s College London by a second year undergraduate, last year.
Starting out as just an evening of talks from specialists in different areas of physics, this conference has now become a full day of talks on research, work and challenges faced by women in physics. There will also be a panel structured on the ‘Future of Physics’, with panellists ranging across undergraduates, post graduates and doctorates. Attendees will also have the opportunity to network with the panellists and speakers at the closing reception.
The Kings College London Women in Physics Society invite you to attend this conference. Tickets are free, sign up to get yourshere.

The Annual Student Society Forum is being hosted by Loughborough Physics at Loughborough University on 16-17 March. This annual forum seeks to bring together members of university physics and astronomy societies from across the UK and Ireland.
During the two days, we will be organising a wide range of events and activities designed to establish new links and share best practices between the attending societies. The forum will include keynote speeches from guest lecturers, PhD students and undergraduates.
