Help Us Find Our HABs!

Posted on May 6, 2013 by guilds_icseds in News

As mentioned before we recently lost two HAB payloads near Whittlesey, east of Peterborough.

This google map shows were the payloads were predicted to have landed (We know that a payload released just before ours was found at:  52.6054,0.02249 (GPS coordinates) And a payload released just after ours was found at: 52.56087,-0.03132) and the area between the placeholders represents our search area:

SEARCH LOCATION MAP

We will soon be putting up an image of a search area we reckon the payloads have landed in, so if you know anyone who lives in the area please ask them to help us find the experiments!

We also appreciate you sharing this article in any way you can to help get the word out!

Both payloads should be attached to bright red and yellow parachutes (fairly small) and one is a white polystyrene box approximately 30x30x30cm and the other is a much smaller blue polystyrene box, shaped a bit like a T, approximately 20x15x10cm.
