The Harry Woolhouse Charitable Trust (Registered Charity – 1179881) aims to support Imperial College Sinfonietta and its members in furthering activities which capture Harry’s spirit; going beyond the ordinary and always going the extra mile.
A warm and selfless man, and fine violinist – Harry was a much-loved member of the orchestra and a long-standing member of the committee. Harry’s zest for life and passion for adventure was infectious to say the least and it is truly remarkable how many incredible experiences Harry managed to pack into his life, which was so cruelly cut short.

What is the Trust?
The Trust was established in 2017, in memory of Harry Woolhouse who died tragically in 2014. The formation also commemorates the 20th anniversary of Imperial College Sinfonietta.
The Trust normally supports these activities through the awarding of grants, maintenance or scholarships or by providing funds to assist with education (within music and the arts) or the undertaking of travel in furtherance of that education.
The Trust will not support activities that comprise the regular activity of the orchestra or its members, nor will it support any activity for which support or funding is already available from established sources. The intention is to enable new pursuits and endeavours.
