Groups

Imperial College A Cappella society acts to promote the love and performance of A Cappella music within our University. As a rapidly growing society, we are constantly looking to start new projects and to encourage both individuals and groups to develop and enjoy A Cappella music!

Currently, we have five groups in the society:
The Imperielles (All Female – Contemporary)
The Scopes (Mixed – Contemporary)
Surcery (Mixed – Fusion/Contemporary)
Take Note (All Female – Barbershop/Contemporary)
The Techtonics (All Male – Contemporary)

Please look at the groups’ individual pages to find out more about them!

Whenever you’re finished with each chapter, so be sure to summarise the main points https://www.affordable-papers.net/ of the chapter.

About

ICU A Cappella society was founded in November 2010 by Eugene Chang and Ed Brightman. It belongs to the Arts and Entertainments Board of ICU.

We aim to promote a cappella singing at Imperial College. This is through hosting a cappella workshops/events, providing information about external a cappella performances and opportunities, and most importantly, providing an official presence to support a cappella groups at Imperial. A cappella groups within the society are able to book rooms for rehearsal/concert rooms at Imperial, use Union facilities such as minibuses and receive financial support from the Union.

We have an open mailing list advertising a cappella events, opportunities and news, both within and outside Imperial. Please visit https://mailman.ic.ac.uk/mailman/listinfo/icu-acappella-list to subscribe.
