The Railway Society at Imperial is comprised of a small group of dedicated railway enthusiasts. We simply enjoy being in and around trains and locomotives. And that's what we do: make sure that we're immersed in this world as much as possible!

Our activities include depot visits, talks and track-laying trips. Since the society is of a relatively modest size, every member has the opportunity to play a part in the planning and organising of events.

Moreover, the Railway Society is a great stepping stone to a career in the rail industry. With links to some big names in the industry, some of whom were members of this very club, you would be hard pressed to find a better way to start your working life with the railways.
