There's a lot of information on this site about all genres of star trek. There are extensive encyclopedia's of races and ships with quite a few images. The synopses are comprehensive with a number of screen shots. There's plenty of news about the shows, cast and crew past and present and as it's an official site it's all only confirmed stuff, for better or worse.
It looks like a trek site should do, the computer like interface etc. With any site this big the structure is pretty horrific and the cross linking isn't always what it could be. But once you get the hang of it, it's not too bad.

reasonable; needs recent graphical browser
It looks really great, but it is a bit painful to load with lots of images and scripting I pity people on low bandwidth connections trying to get to it.

Really useful guide to what's on at cinemas. YOu can tell it what you want, or where you want it, even using London postcodes. It then gives you a list of what's on, where, how much, maps, reviews... everything you need really.
Nice and simple and really fast. And it's purple!

This is a often bad-tempered, always hilarious webcomic by gamers, for gamers. Gabe and Tycho are my heroes and love Star Wars; what more need I say?
These people scare me and entertain me in equal measure... this webcomic is arguably the best around, and every strip since *whenever* is still available for the high of bandwidth.

In the season 7 Buffy episode "Help", the Scooby gang look up Cassie Newton's website. This is a fan-run site, which mirrors the one in the episode (poetry etc).
It's hosted on GeoCities, so it keeps exceeding the bandwidth limitation - took me a few days until I could actually connect to it. So, if you can't get through, try again later.

Fred "Piro" Gallagher and Rodney "Largo" Caston have been entertaining an ever-growing number of fans since August 2000 with this anime webcomic-cum-blog. Fred's attempts to combine a full-time job as an architect with a thrice-weekly webcomic cause reasonably frequent schedule slippages, but he always apologises so profusely that nobody minds. The comic follows the lives of the authors' alter egos as they attempt to return from self-imposed exile in Japan, with a supporting cast of ninjas, consciences, robotic Playstation accesories, psychotic sony/sega employees and kawaii japanese schoolgirls.

Extremely detailed and well-interlinked reference site - you can easily lose hours here. Main focus is on the books, but there is a page on the film(s) and how they differ from the books, as well as various trivia.
Professional looking, un-fussy style.
The site is being a bit fussy recently, occasionally being unavailable, i'm guessing they're being slightly overloaded. It's worth checking back though.

Much like the Lurkers Guide for contents - long episode analyses, with relevant points and collected comments from cast and crew. Also a comprehensive cast and crew section.
Pretty useful for earlier episodes, but doesn't seem to be being updated for season 4 very quickly. Also lots of information on the Save Farscape Campaign.
