...ICSF has a lot of history, in fact, history has a tendency to turn up to Picocon and rant at you! So here is a brief timeline of the society...

Welcome to the icsf history book. The society was founded over 25 years ago and has grown over the year from modest beginnings with a few books in a cupboard to a library of over 8000 items and one hundred web pages. The society history pages contain records of committee and other members, publications and events. Each Picocon has it's own dedicated page with posters, programs and other comments where we have them.

Other information can be found in the library history pages and in the biography pages in the social section. There are also poster and photo archives.

These pages have been compiled from many different sources including the contents of the filing box, the filofax/database of doom and the fanzine and Wyrmtongue archives. Several alumni of the society have also provided comment and information. However you will note there are still gaps in our information and we are very eager to complete the archive.
