2011–12 fixtures and results

The Internal League is ICU Snooker's biggest competition! It starts off as a round-robin competition, then splits into two events where people are drawn into groups of similar ability, making it accessible to players of all standards, before knockout stages decide the winners. All members are welcome to participate!

Each group will have four to five players depending on numbers. Entrants are expected to play one or two matches per week and to play all their matches! The two group stages take place during the rest of the Autumn Term, with the knockout rounds being held at the start of the Spring Term.

Championship/Trophy round 1

Qualification criteria:

The top two players from each group and the two best runners-up comprise the twenty qualifiers for round 2 of the Championship.
The remaining players enter round 2 of the Trophy.
The order of seeding for the round 2 group stages is determined by the players' final positions in their round 1 groups, followed by the standard ordering of league tables as described in the ICU Snooker tournament regulations.

Championship round 2

Qualification criteria:

The best four group winners are seeded through to the Championship quarter-finals.
The remaining group winner and the three best players finishing in second position become the seeded players in round 3 of the Championship.
The two remaining group runners-up and the two best players finishing in third position also qualify for the remaining places in Championship round 3.
The order of seeding for the knockout stage is determined by the players' final positions in their round 2 groups, followed by the standard ordering of league tables as described in the ICU Snooker tournament regulations, except that round 2 seeding is used instead of point difference to separate players tied on all other measures.
