On a Wednesday where and what time can we be found...?
We normally meet in Beit Quad for people who want to borrow club skates, then leave at 13:00 to the front
of the Albert Memorial, where we skate outdoor, or on Serpentine Road ...Direction
On a Wednesday what do we do...?
Once we make it to the place we either:
- Practice skating with a few simple drills
- Go for a street skate round London
- Play a little park hockey
- Practice some slalom
What if I just want to try skating and don't have skates...?
The club has about 10 pairs of skates to lend out, just let any committee member know beforehand!
- Free borrowing for the first time and on sessions (Wednesday/Saturday), then £3/day for members and £6/day for non-members
What if it is raining...?
Then the session is cancelled :(
Do we skate in the summer term?
Yes! In the summer term, we operate an "on-demand" system. We will send out an email
with the time and date we can organise the meet up in the park in the next few days,
and ask for people's replies. If there is enough interest, it will go ahead.
How much is the membership for 2010/2011?
It is £10 this year.
