The Night Hike is back for 2012 - Saturday 25th February

The Night Hike is an event organised by the Recreational Clubs Committee, a part of Imperial College Union. It is an orienteering event in the dark. The location changes each year. You can enter with a team of between 2-4 people. We have a base where you meet, collect the map and list of check-points and then head out; you have 6 hours to return to the base (plus some extra time for visiting certain checkpoints). You can be as competitive or as relaxed as you like; lots of people wear costumes!

- 19:00 Saturday 25th February to 07:00 Sunday 26th February 2012
- You and your team can start whenever you want from 19:00 to 23:00 on the 25th. The base will be manned for the entire time. Your time of departure will be noted, simply register as you leave. Breakfast will be served for all competitors at 06:00 on the 26th which you are welcome to stay for. Prizes will be given at 07:00.

- 3) Pay online (ENTRY is £8 per person. MINIBUS TRANSPORT is an extra £10 per person, return, with limited availability. TRAINS are £12 each, return, from Euston with a Young Person's Railcard or £9.05 each, return, if you travel as a group of 4).

- 6) Compete on the night! (Trains depart from London Euston for Tring every 20 minutes. We will collect you from Tring station and take you to the Community Centre (the start!))

- We will be able to take several teams from Imperial College Union when the buses leave at approximately 16:00 on the 25th. This is first-come-first-served. Please contact us if you want a minibus place BEFORE you buy one. The majority of people will make their way to Tring station (Trains go from London Euston every 10-20 minutes and take 43 minutes to Tring). We will collect you from Tring station by minibus and take you to the Community Centre.
