23.02.2012 - Polish Vodka Celebration

For the First time in history of Imperial College Polish Society, we are organizing POLISH VODKA CELEBRATION party!!
Vodka Parties organized by different Polish Societies ate always extremely great fun all over UK. If you have experienced it, don't let yourself miss this one. If you haven't, come and have a great night in Polish style.
Together with Gessler at Daquise Restaurant, we will be giving you super tasty, traditional Polish Snacks with every shot you order at the bar. Those will include:
- herrings in oil (śledziki w oleju)
- herrings in cream (śledziki w śmietanie)
- pie and cranberries (pasztet + żurawina)
- meat jelly (galaretka z mięsem)
- beetroot (buraczki)
- pickles (ogórki kiszone)
- other
There will be Polish Vodka Brands served on the bar including:
- Żołądkowa Gorzka
- Bison Grass Vodka (Żubrówka)
The price of one vodka shot (and the snack with it) is £3. Also, all the cocktails in the bar will be server with "Two for One" offer.
The entry to the party is just £5 and it includes two discount tickets for the vodka shots.
There might not be enough tickets at the door, so we suggest you buy them earlier by contacting us.

08.02.2012 - "Carnage" Cinema Trip

Imperial and UCL Polish Societies, together with LSEsu Polish Business Society want to invite you to watch the movie by Polish Director Roman Polanski - "Carnage"
Short description of the movie from IMDb: "Two pairs of parents hold a cordial meeting after their sons are involved in a fight, though as their time together progresses, increasingly childish behavior throws the evening into chaos."
We are going to meet in Cineworld on Leicester Square at 6.45pm.
The price is just £3.45, so come and see it with us!
It's quite probable that we'll hit on of the bars around after the screening.

To welcome you back in the new year, we want to meet all of your to watch a great comedy by Stanisław Bareja - "Co mi zrobisz jak mnie złapiesz?" ("What Will You Do When You Catch Me?").
For the small group of those who haven't heard about the film, you can read the review on wikipedia
We will provide the snacks, so you don't die from hunger (but you may still dir from lough).

Every year, we like to pop down to the Queensway ice rink for a bit of silliness on ice.
We are going next Tuesday (29th), meeting inside Beit Quadat 6:30pm.
Depending on numbers interested, we might be able to negotiate lower group prices (but it won't cost more than L10pp)

We have arranged a dinner at Mamuśka, a polish milk bar in Elephant and Castle, this Thursday at 7pm. It's a new place and it's getting awesome reviews. And the prices are awesome too!
We are letting you know early so you can put this in your diaries.

20.10.2011 - "The Battle of Warsaw 1920" Cinema Trip

Location: Cineworld Hammersmith (W6 9TJ)
The Battle of Warsaw 1920, a 3D war epic, is being shown in London right now.
We are organising a trip to see this movie on Thursday 20/10/2011 at 9pm in Cineworld Hammersmith (W6 9JT).
We need an idea for the numbers (if there is more than 10 of us, the ticket price will go down).

15.10.2011 - Picnic
Time: 3.00pm
Location: Primorse Hill Park
Sun is shining and we can all be sure that our picnic will take place.
We are waiting for you at 3pm next to Camden Town Station. As you come out of the tube station, turn left towards the pedestrian crossings. The tube station is adjacent to an HSBC bank. We will meet by the entrance to HSBC.
You can also meet us by the Queens Tower at Imperial at 2pm.
Although, there will be some drinks and nibbles provided for members ( if you haven't bought it yet you can quickly buy it here : http://bit.ly/oFoBL8 ) we don't mind if you bring anything with you. Frisbee, blankets and other picnic stuff might be a good idea as well.
