Imperial College Indian Society is one of the largest multicultural societies in the UK with an aim to promote and preserve the unique Indian culture. We warmly welcome students from all backgrounds and encourage anyone interested in the rich and diverse culture to join our society and participate in our various events. We strive to develop an extensive network that ranges across all years with the intention of building a community where students can easily meet new people, and together enjoy the numerous events that we hold during the year..

We start off the year with the Fresher’s Fair, followed by our sell-out clubbing event Fire & Spice. We then hold India Cultural Week, full of numerous activities to promote cultural awareness. Furthermore, throughout out the year we hold Dinner and Dance events, Hindi film nights, Bollywood dance classes, sporting events, and much much more..

Our main and most popular event is East Meets West, our annual charity show that showcases the diverse talents at Imperial College London. It is now in its 19th year running, and has become one of the largest student run shows in the UK. Previously held at prestigious West End theatres such as Shaftesbury Theatre, London Palladium, and last year at Her Majesty’s Theatre, EMW has been a success in raising funds for worthwhile causes, and providing an exciting and enjoyable evening for both those participating and the audience.

With such a diverse calendar of events, we guarantee that there is something for everyone!
