Surgical Society Journal Club

Surgical Society will be launching its Journal Club. To officiate its opening, we are organizing a Critical Appraisal Workshop to kick start the club.

This workshop is targeted at Year 4s pursuing their BSc, medical students undertaking research as well as those who are interested in contributing to the Journal Club.

We are fortunate enough to have Mr Ankur Thapar, a surgical clinical research fellow based at Charing Cross, who will be conducting this workshop. Mr Thapar together with other Imperial College Research Fellows will aim to help participants understand how to correctly critically appraise medical literature as well as apply and present statistics and data in their papers.
