The 4th October was an exciting day for ICSM Surg Soc! Our first event of the year, the Imperial College Fresher's Fair, is one of the busiest and enjoyable days of the academic calendar.

Surgical society ambassdors welcomed over 130 students to the society in less than a few hours. Freshers learnt how to remove benign fatty lumps from unsuspecting committee members! The portable lipoma removal teaching was extremly popular, with many fresher's now knowing the basics of instrument handling and blunt dissection. Later in the day was a knot tying masterclass by none-other than Lord Winston!
