Imperial Medicals Rugby Football Club is Imperial College's top performing Rugby Union club. Open to students of all courses, medics and non-medics alike we have a rich club history of traditions, tours and high level rugby. Our club traces its roots back to 1865, where the first of our constituent members, St Marys Hospital RFC was formed. In 1874, they played in the first ever United Hospitals Cup - the oldest rugby cup competition in the world, and one of the first ever official competitions to be played with 15 players on each side. IMRFC has two performance teams, the 1st XV playing in BUCS South East 2B and the 2nd XV playing in BUCS South East 4B. We also have provision for development of new players, who aren't quite comfortable playing a full game yet. We train twice a week, on Mondays and Saturdays, and we play our BUCS fixtures on Wednesdays, followed by a social at the Reynolds Bar. Follow us on Instagram @imrfc for regular updates, training times and social information.
