FRESHERS!
ICSM Badminton Club is one of the most exciting and popular clubs at Imperial and it is time to seize this opportunity to join one of the fastest growing clubs in the college! The club welcomes players of all skill levels (from seasoned champs, to people giggling when they hear "shuttlecock").
For those jump-smashing junkies, the club has four highly competitive teams. The teams have performed extremely well, receiving consecutive promotions in the last three years. As always, the teams are looking for new blood and talent this year. If you think you've got what it takes, please drop by at the trials in the beginning of term, and we shall make this year a glorious one.
As for the less competitive and laid back, our social sessions boast an incredibly friendly atmosphere, a perfect place to meet new people, make new friends, moan about exams, gossip, more gossip, all while staying fit and healthy. Perhaps learning a few badminton tricks as well? Besides the league action, the club hosts many social events throughout the year, such as sports night mayhem, Holland tour, and trip to the All England Championship, just to name a few.
