Photosoc is here to cater for all your photographic needs. Whether you are student wanting to learn more about how to get the best out of your camera, or you are involved with another club and you are trying to get some great photos of your activities and members.

For our members we run a comprehensive series of classes on darkroom technique, camera technique, as well as providing a place to meet like minded people. Each week we will go somewhere off campus to either take photos, or go and look at an exhibition. We also have semi-regular weekend trips to places a bit further away.

For other clubs and societies, we offer a range of services depending on what you want. If you want photos taken of an event, or of your club, or of anything for that matter, just drop an e-mail to photographic.society@imperial.ac.uk and we will get back to you to discuss details.

joining photosoc

You can join Photosoc by going to the Union website and buying membership. You can also buy a darkroom card on the same website which will allow you access to our darkroom and all its equipment.

membership fees

The normal membership is £5. The darkroom card is £10.
