Hall Seniors

These guys loved hall life so much, they wanted to come back and do it all over again! So this group have done it all before (some of them more than once!). Helping to organise many of the social events enjoyed by all at Fisher last year, they’ll be available to help this year’s freshers make the same impact on the hall as they did themselves.

They’ll be around to help you deal with any problems you have as well as making moving and settling in as enjoyable as possible.

Below you can find out more about the hall seniors.

Rhys Jones (Room 3)

Su’ mae! I’m Rhys and I’m a second year physicist and I lived in Fisher when I was a first year. There’s not a lot that I’m not interested in; I play a few instruments, I played rugby for years when I was younger, I’ve travelled a bit and I’ve dabbled in politics. I’m one of the Welshies and do speak Welsh, so if you do fancy a chat in Welsh or English either come and knock on room 3 or come down to the common room.

Jack Radcliffe (Room 326)

Hola! My name is Jack and I am a second year Physicist. I am an outgoing, sociable and sporty individual. I compete at a local tennis club and I also play football and cricket.  My other interests include travelling, having recently just returned from five weeks in Europe, and sampling alcoholic beverages… which needs no further explaining.

If you fancy a pint or just a chat over a brew, feel free to ask. I am happy to help with any questions you may have! I will either be in the common room or in room  326. I look forward to meeting you all in October!

Kin-Hing Lo (Room 129)

Hi! I’m Kin-Hing, a final year physicist from Oxfordshire. I enjoy cooking (mainly burning!), business & technology, hiking and travelling, current affairs and simply enjoying what London has to offer!

If you’re up for a big roast dinner or a chat, please feel free to knock on my door!  You’ll find me in room 129!  I’m looking forward to meeting you all!

Yifei Wang (Room 11)

Hello everyone! I am Yifei (ee-fay) and I am currently in my second year of medical study! I have many hobbies and interests such as art, music, various sports, shopping, travelling, playing hula-hoop and walking…So, if you share any of the above interests, please do come and find me! Moreover, if you have any questions about anything, feel free to pop by for a chat – I will use all my experience and knowledge to advise you. A very warm welcome to Imperial – I look forward to meeting you all and hope you thoroughly enjoy your first year at uni!

Danielle Barnes (Room 304)

Hey! My name is Danielle and I am going into my third year at Imperial studying Geology and Geophysics. I am a very active and adventurous individual involved in a range of sports, including; wakeboarding (President 2011-2012), snowsports, scuba diving, rock climbing etc. On the other hand I enjoy just kicking back, relaxing, having a good old chit chat, so if you want to ask anything, chillax or fancy a drink feel free to drop by my room. I am really looking forward to getting to know everyone… it’s going to be a good year.

Mark Pointon (Room 317)

Alright my lover’s? My names Mark, I’m 19 years old, and from Somerset (The Cider County). I am a third year Petroleum Geoscientist. I am a sporty, outgoing chap. I spent more time in the common room last year, than I did my own room! I’m always about for a casual bit of pub sport. On top of that I often turn out for the Fisher football team on Sundays, as well as play rugby for a number of teams. Unfortunately I don’t drink tea, but I’ll happily make you a cup, or something stronger if you fancy a chat; I can be found on the sofa’s or in room 317. I look forward to meeting you all in early October.

Alina Solovjova (Room 111)

Welcome to Imperial! I’m Alina, a third-year physicist from Oxfordshire. My interests include running (great way to get quickly acquainted with your new area), cycling, skiing, reading and movies. I love exploring London and all it has to offer, and I hope you will too :)

Find me in room 111 if you have questions about any aspect of university life, or just feel like a chat. I look forward to meeting you all!

Julia Gonzalez Holguera (Room 215)

Hey there! I’m Julia, the 8th and the one-who-wasn’t-there-during-fresher’s-week hall senior. For those who wonder, I come from this exotic place called Luxembourg and am a third year Chemistry student. I’ve got many interests, many of them outdoors related and including climbing, hiking, mountaineering or just simply sitting down and looking at the landscape. Right now, I’m looking forward to meeting you all, so feel free to knock on my door if you fancy a chat.
