This website was set up by Imperial College Union to explain some of the initiatives being carried out on campus in the area of sustainability, by both our students and staff. Since the introduction of our Union Environmental Policy in 2010, we have been going from strength-to-strength, but there is always more that we can do! However, top-down initiatives are only as successful as the collective input of all the individual members of the College which is why we will be including some information about how we can all make an effort in our daily lives and work to reduce our impact on the environment. Multiply that by the almost 20,000- strong College community and that's a pretty big impact! Please read the relevant sections for more information.
