Joint Concert with ICSE
Our first concert colaboration with Imperial College String Ensemble was held on 13th March 2012 with great sucess. An excellent audience turnout and some of the best playing of the whole year made this concert particuarly memorable. We would like to give particular thanks to those additional players who volunteered their services to help fill out missing parts. Video recordings of the concert can be found on our media pages.
Rehearsal Weekend to Oxford
Thank you to all those who joined us for our rehearsal weekend to Oxford, this was a great success! Hopefully everyone enjoyed themselves and those who took advantage of the 24 hour bar in the youth hostel are now starting to recover. Photos from the weekend can be found on our Media page.
Tour to Luxembourg Spring 2011
Despite many years of music-making, Imperial College Wind Band had never been away on a tour, so when approached by Cosma Gottardi (our excellent tenorsaxophonist from Luxembourg), inviting us to spend a long weekend with his home band we jumped at the chance. 28 of our finest players signed up for an incredible opportunity to not only visit such a beautiful country but also to engage in intense rehearsals and perform in a stunning concert with our hosts.
