We organise friendly competitions and other activities throughout the year. These are open to all club members, and are always great fun!

Pony Games

If you can imagine a cross between school sports day races and childrens' party games, all on horseback, you've got the general idea. This event has been very popular with all our members for the last few years so expect to see it again this year...

Hacking and Cross Country

Hacking means riding out in the countryside in a group, and cross country is really the same thing, only faster and with some jumping involved. Small groups of experienced riders may be taught over the cross country course (weather and ground conditions permitting), and for those who are less confident or experienced, but would like to give it a try, indoor cross country can be arranged. This is a great way to learn the required skills without venturing out into open fields.

Social Events

As well as all the riding, there will be social events throughout the year, and we tend to go to the pub every week after riding for a few drinks.
