Experienced

Written by ICFC | 01:36 10/08/2009 | Modified: 16:23 16/10/2010

There are plenty of opportunities for people already experienced in Fencing, our club sessions are open to all who have already completed a beginners course and members range in experience from those with only a years experience to others who compete internationally. We also offer individual lessons with one of our coaches, for more information see here.

For students who are interested in competing as part of one of the best clubs at Imperial options include joining one of our teams, we currently have 3 mens teams and 2 womens teams competing in the BUCS leagues and the BUCS Individual Championships. Both 1st teams compete in the Southern Premiership, the other teams compete in the South Eastern Conference, with the 2nd teams in the 1st division and the mens 3rd team in the 2nd division. The Individual Championships are held once a year spread over 3 days towards the end of the first term, details will be sent to club members closer to the time.

Even if you are not involved in one of the teams there are plenty of opportunities throughout the year to go to national competions with other members of the club or alternatively just come along train for fun and take part in the social side of the club.

For more information, contact the club president or come along to a session.
