New to the Club?
Hello and welcome to the Cross Country and Athletics Club – One of Imperial's friendliest clubs!
We cater for all sorts of runners, whether you want to keep fit and meet new friends or improve your p.b. and compete at the highest level, we have something for you!
Come give running a go at one of our Hyde Park runs, our most popular run of the week – meet at 1pm in the Foyer of Ethos. There will be plenty of people there and always someone running at your pace, no matter what speed you want to go at. Meet some committee members, find out more about the club and ask any other questions you might have. You can have a go at half the park (about 2 miles) or the whole park which is about 4.5 miles.
Other training sessions on during the week:
- Mondays: Circuit training – Union Gym (3rd floor in Union building, Beit Quad – changing is on 2nd/3rd floor)
- Tuesdays: Track session with a local club at Battersea Park. These are for the guys interested in athletics and for those wanting to take training really seriously.
- Thursday: Interval session with Rich Mathie – meet at Ethos at 6pm
- Sunday: Long run (usually about an hour) at 10am often followed by a FREE breakfast!
